Perdu dans l’immensité d’une campagne désertique, un homme a rendez- vous avec la terre. Assailli de visions aveuglantes, il doit honorer une promesse vieille de vingt ans et déterrer ses souvenirs les plus profondément enfouis…

Lost in the immensity of a desert countryside, a lonely figure has an encouter with the soil. Beset by blinding visions, he must honor a twenty-year-old promise and unearth his most deeply buried memories...

"ATTAQUE LE SOLEIL" est une oeuvre divisée en trois chapitres que nous avons réalisée pour donner vie à deux morceaux de FANGE : "À LA RACINE" et "SANG-VINAIGRE".

Inspiré directement des thématiques chères au groupe, il évoque la question de la mémoire traumatique et de la difficulté de se confronter au réel pour guérir. L’amour fraternel, le fatalisme du monde matériel et la difficile exploration des souvenirs enfouis sont au cœur de l’intrigue.

En empruntant aux univers d’Andreï Tarkovski, Gregg Araki et de Denis Villeneuve nous souhaitions composer une esthétique picturale et poétique qui s’affranchit des codes habituels du Rock / Metal afin de donner à cette histoire, marquée par le deuil et la nostalgie, un caractère visuel intemporel.

"ATTAQUE LE SOLEIL" is a short film divided into three chapters, shot as a music video for "À LA RACINE" and "SANG-VINAIGRE", two tracks written by FANGE.

Directly inspired by thematics shared by the band, they evokes the question of traumatic memory and the difficulty to face the real world to be cured. Brotherly love, the fatal issues of the material world and the difficult exploration of memories buried, are the core of the plot.

Inspired by the work of Andrei Tarkovski, Gregg Araki and Denis Villeneuve, our aim was compose a pictural and poetic aestheticism, far from the usual codes of the Rock / Metal music music, in order to give to this story, affected by by death and nostalgia, a visual character outside time.
